I learned about how Newtons 3 laws effect a roller coaster and about how g-forces allow us to enjoy our roller coaster experience and how too many g-forces can cause a red out or a black out and how serious a redout can be. I really liked having the challenge of building the Rube Goldberg part but sometimes it was frustrating having to set up the dominos each time. I'm really happy with how are group worked well together and the end result of our project.

Physics Project Reflection 3 - Katya
In class, we progressed a lot with our roller coaster. We managed to start our Rube Goldberg section and it is going very well. I am very please with our progress and the participation of all my group. One thing that has been really frustrating is getting the marble over the second hump because sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and we don't know what we are doing wrong. Inertia played a part in building the stage of the roller coaster because we had to put the tower exactly the right distance away from the table so the marble would go inside.

To our project, we have taken out our second loop and decided to curve the tube around instead. We did this because the marble was not going around the loop properly and we thought it would be safer to take it out. One con about using duck tape or sellotape in our project is that if you stick it to the tube and later try to take it off, the tube starts to rip and fall apart. That has been frustrating and also managing our time because during class, time goes by really quickly and before you know it the class it over. I'm not completely pleased with our progress but I hope we will be able to get more done next class
